Demon Slayer season 4 episode 6 recap: Tanjiro trains under Stone Hashira
Demon Slayer season 4 episode 6, titled “The Strongest of the Demon Slayer Corps,” started with Tanjiro and Zenitsu arriving at the Stone Hashira’s abode to begin the Muscle Amplification Training. The training consisted of three tasks, including standing under a cold, running waterfall, lifting a stack of three logs, and moving a boulder one cho away.
After Inosuke finishes his waterfall training, Tanjiro completes it as well. Amid the training, the protagonist cooks for the demon slayers, reminding them of home. They also witness Gyomei Himejima easily moving a boulder, motivating Tanjiro to do the same.
When Tanjiro completes the second task, he moves on to the final one. However, despite putting in all his effort, Tanjiro could not move the boulder.
Meanwhile, the episode shows Nakime and Muzan sitting inside the Infinity Castle as the former spies on demon slayers. Despite finding about 60% of the Demon Slayer Corps members, she could not locate Nezuko. However, Muzan seems confident he will find Nezuko and Ubuyashiki.
Later, Genya arrives and suggests using repetitive motion to move the boulder. Tanjiro imagines his family that triggers the repetitive motion, and he pushes the boulder while Inosuke and Zenitsu witness the feat.
