Jessica Biel Has ‘Moved On’ From Justin Timberlake’s DWI Arrest

Since his arrest for a DWI, Justin Timberlake’s attorney, Edward Burke Jr., has vowed to defend him vigorously in court.

A source recently revealed to People magazine that Biel remains steadfastly supportive of her husband, Timberlake, despite his recent DWI arrest.

The insider shared that as Biel dives into her upcoming Prime Video series, she prioritizes her professional commitments after attending Timberlake’s recent Madison Square Garden performance, where she joyfully danced among the crowd.

“They’re always supportive of each other’s careers,” the insider shared. “Jess would never miss a show when she’s able to attend. She’s excited for him. They’ve moved on from the arrest.”

“They have faith in their legal team and continue to focus on work and their family instead. Jess enjoys filming and is excited about the project,” the source added.

Per the outlet, Biel was initially “not happy” over the news of her husband’s arrest.

“She had to film yesterday. She doesn’t like any attention on the family, especially not negative,” the source said.

The insider added that Biel “loves” the “Cry Me a River” singer and “will always be by his side.” They also praised Timberlake, describing him as “a great dad and husband.”

Timberlake faced legal trouble on June 18 following an alleged incident of driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York.

The singer was reportedly pulled over after leaving the American Hotel, with police claiming he ran a stop sign and exhibited signs of impaired driving.

According to reports, officers noted that the singer’s “eyes were bloodshot and glassy” at the time of the stop.

The arresting officer noted, “A strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.”

Following his arraignment, the “SexyBack” singer was released from police custody later that day. His next court appearance is scheduled for Friday, July 26, when he will face a hearing regarding the DWI charge.

Timberlake resumed his tour schedule at Chicago’s United Center just days after being released from custody. During his performance, he addressed his loyal fans and expressed gratitude for their ongoing support throughout his career.

“This [tour] is just something that keeps watching over me, more so on this tour than any other,” Timberlake told the audience. “And that’s that mostly all of us here in this room tonight, in this arena tonight, have grown up together. So many of you come up to me and say, ‘I grew up with you, man.'”

He continued, visibly moved by the crowd’s support, “I want each and every one of you to know I’ve grown up with you. You have been such a big and beautiful part of my life, and sometimes I can’t find the words to show my gratitude that you guys just keep riding with me and riding with me.”

On June 23, the bartender who had served Timberlake on the night of his arrest informed the publication that the Grammy winner had only consumed one martini during dinner with friends.

This account aligns with Timberlake’s statement to the police, in which he claimed, “I had one martini, and I followed my friends home.” Another employee corroborated this, stating, “If he was drinking more, it wasn’t here.”

Attorney Edward Burke Jr. issued a statement about defending Timberlake against the allegations “vigorously.”

“Mr. Burke looks forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations. He will have a lot to say at the appropriate time. He is currently awaiting full discovery from the DA’s office,” the statement read.

Timberlake sold his massive Nashville ranch for $8 million 10 months after placing it on the market.

According to The Sun, the singer made a $4 million profit from the transaction after first buying the plot for $4 million in 2015. However, he took a $2 million hit after initially asking for $10 million.

The property sits on a massive 126-acre and boasts unique mountain views and lush green space perfect for horseback riding, fishing, and mountain biking.
