Kate Chastain Claps Back at Lindsay Hubbard’s Comments

Kate Chastain is weighing in on claims of Dorinda Medley leaking Lindsay Hubbard‘s pregnancy news to The Traitors producers amid filming on season three.

After the 37-year-old Summer House star seemingly confirmed the rumors, saying it “was awful” and accusing the Real Housewives of New York City alum, 59, of “super disappointing and sad” behavior, the 41-year-old former Below Deck cast member wondered why Lindsay would’ve considered appearing on the Peacock series while pregnant.

“Honestly it doesn’t even matter if Dorinda told producers. There’s an extremely thorough health exam and extensive testing you have to take before you can do the show so producers would have found out anyways,” Kate wrote in response to an article shared by Reality Blurb on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Also a pregnant woman shouldn’t want to do those missions,” she added.

Although Lindsay’s message about Dorinda’s alleged leak seemed to be the confirmation of the news, an insider has suggested otherwise.

“There is absolutely no truth to that,” a Bravo source told Us Weekly on July 5.

As Summer House fans may have seen, Lindsay confirmed her baby news on the Fourth of July, along with a series of baby bump photos, one of which featured the arms of her mystery boyfriend.

Also included in Lindsay’s pregnancy announcement was an ad for Clear Blue pregnancy tests.

“The second I had a feeling, I took a [Clear Blue] Early Digital Pregnancy Test and getting a clear result, in words, made the next steps sooo much easier. My boyfriend and I are beyond excited to welcome our little #HubbCub this Holiday season 2024!!” Lindsay had written.

Following the announcement, Lindsay was faced with criticism over the paid ad, which she responded to in an Instagram Story.

“Lindsay would have to make a pregnancy announcement at some point, so why not cash in? What was she supposed to do? Say no, to keep the bitter internet hags happy?” a Bravo fan page asked in an X message.

“My thoughts exactly … My expenses just doubled so … Let’s goooo!” Lindsay replied.
