Shannon Beador revealed new details about the timeline of Alexis Bellino‘s romance with her ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, while appearing on Jeff Lewis‘ radio show this week.
As she also called out Alexis, 47, who she said is a “friend” on the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, for sharing a photoshopped pic of herself with the full cast and described herself as a “rule follower,” which prompted a shady response from Tamra Judge, 56, Shannon, 60, Shannon dished on a “split” cast trip and the start of Alexis and John’s relationship.
“We had broken up and then they started dating about six weeks after we broke up,” Shannon revealed on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Extended. “And then the show started filming and I think they’d been dating about a month and a half, two months at the time. So it was a new relationship. So, no, it wasn’t fun but I got through it and so you’ll have to tune in.”
As RHOC fans may recall, Shannon confirmed her split from John in January 2023, stating that she was “blindsided” by the breakup, which allegedly occurred months prior, in late 2022. Meanwhile, Alexis and John didn’t confirm their romance until late 2023.
“I’ve seen the first episode and it’s a lot. It’s juicy,” Shannon added.
As for claims that Alexis had potentially been cut out of the full cast photo in images shared by the ladies on social media, Shannon denied any such thing, revealing that Alexis “wasn’t a part of the all-cast photo.”
“She’s a friend. Let’s be clear, Alexis Bellino is a friend. She’s not holding an orange,” Shannon stated.
Then, after it was noted that Alexis had posted a photo of herself with the rest of the women, suggesting that she was part of the main cast, Shannon said she didn’t see it because she was “blocked” and accused Alexis of photoshopping the image (Alexis actually confirmed it was edited in the caption).
“I don’t know if this means anything but let’s take her out because she never was in the flipping picture,” Shannon said in response to Alexis’ Instagram pic, asking, “Who’s in the center? That would be me.”
“That is not the all-cast photo … It’s so thirsty and I’ll just leave it at that,” she added.
On another segment of Jeff’s show, Shannon spoke of the RHOC cast’s group trips after Jeff, 54, noted that there were four of them, including vacations in Big Bear, Sonoma, Palm Springs, and London.
“There are [four], but one cast trip was split. Half the people went to Big Bear, half went to Palm Springs … Because as one can imagine, there’s certain people on the cast that I wasn’t super excited about filming with or traveling with,” she stated on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, noting that Alexis and Tamra went to Big Bear while she, Emily Simpson, 48, Gina Kirschenheiter, 40, and Heather Dubrow, 55, went to Palm Springs.
“Am I gonna get in trouble now? I’m a rule follower. Gosh,” Shannon wondered after sharing the details.
She was then asked about her relationship with newbie Katie Ginella.
“She’s nice. Yeah, she’s nice. No, she’s nice. I mean, she’s nice,” Shannon insisted as Jeff wondered if she was being shady. “Don’t read into it. She’s nice. We get along. We get along. Yeah. No, we’re good. Yeah. No, we’re good.”
As for the rest of the cast, Shannon said she’s currently friends with “some people.”
“I don’t think I should [say who] because there’s stuff that happens, especially in the first episode that’s really, that’s really nice. So let’s just put it this way: I am friendly with some of the cast and then some I don’t speak to at all,” she explained.
Following the airing of the episode, Shannon was met with a message from former friend Tamra, who poked fun at her claim of being a “rule follower.”
“The rule follower that crashed her car into a house [three] times the legal limit … okay,” Tamra wrote, in a comment to Bye Wig Hello Drama on Instagram, signaling to Shannon’s September 2023 DUI along with a series of eye-rolling emoji.
