Ashlee Holmes addressed Jacqueline Laurita‘s reconciliation with Teresa Giudice during a Q&A on Instagram earlier this week after a fan wanted to know her thoughts on the potentially “toxic” pairing.
In her lengthy response, the 33-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey alum reacted to the rekindled friendship between Jacqueline, 54, and Teresa, 52, while also sharing where she stands with the cast, including Teresa’s sister-in-law and archnemesis, Melissa Gorga, 45.
“What are your thoughts on your mum reconciling with Teresa?” the fan asked, adding that they found the reunion to be “so toxic.”
“As long as they’re happy lol,” Ashlee replied, as seen in a screenshot shared on the Instagram Story of Bravo and Cocktails.
She then went into further detail about her status with Teresa and the cast, saying that she doesn’t have a relationship with Teresa at all but sometimes interacts with her 18-year-old daughter, Milania Giudice.
“I don’t have hatred towards any of them. They just aren’t part of my life,” she shared. “It’s hard to have a strong opinion on someone who hasn’t been in your life for like … [eight] years lol … ya know? So … I’m on the same page as most of the RHONJ viewers I think? lol But her and my mom are giggling again so all is well.”
As for her relationship with Melissa, Ashlee said that they are on better terms.
“Personality wise, I vibe more with Melisssa. But. Ya know? We’re all adults. I think everyone needs to just let everyone be lol,” she added.
As RHONJ fans will recall, Jacqueline and Teresa made amends in February 2023 following a years-long feud and have been in touch ever since. In fact, during an episode of her podcast earlier this month, Teresa welcomed Jacqueline to the show to discuss their relationship.
“It felt comfortable right away,” she said of their reunion. “To me, it just felt good and it felt sincere. You could feel that it was real. I let go of anything in the past at that point because the show kind of puts different pressures on you. To me, it was like a relief, a total relief. I felt really good about it.”
Jacqueline then noted that reconciling with Teresa was easier once “Melissa was out of [her] life.”
“I had people in my ear,” Jacqueline admitted of their past feud, signaling to Melissa and Joe Gorga. “They were kind of [manipulating] by telling us things, it was like making me feel bad for [Melissa] about things, and then they would tell me things that maybe [Teresa] were saying behind my back.”
“[Teresa] and I never had a problem, and then I was like, ‘Is she saying these things? She did pull away a little bit?’ And over time, [Teresa] distanced [herself] more and we got pulled apart for a lot of reasons,” she explained.
