Jennifer Lopez Enjoys Bike Ride Amid Ben Affleck Divorce Rumors

Jennifer Lopez was recently seen biking near her Hamptons estate ahead of her 55th birthday amid rumors of a split with Ben Affleck.

The couple recently listed their Beverly Hills mansion for $68 million, further fueling rumors of a divorce. The property, deemed too large for them, was listed publicly to attract buyers.

Amid their alleged marital woes, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s kids are said to be pushing for reconciliation between the couple.

The singer looked happy and carefree as she cycled near her Hamptons estate on Long Island, New York.

Lopez sported a pink and white top for the bike ride paired with white shorts and flip-flops. She accessorized with vibrant Barbie-pink Gucci sunglasses and large silver hoop earrings, showcasing her chic style. Her wedding rings from her estranged husband, Ben Affleck, were notably present.

The 54-year-old star has spent the past week in the Hamptons with her manager, Benny Medina, and was also spotted with Violet, Affleck’s daughter from his previous marriage to actress Jennifer Garner.

However, Lopez and Affleck haven’t been photographed together for 43 days, with their last public appearance at the actor’s son Samuel’s basketball game in Los Angeles.

On Monday, Affleck was seen in Los Angeles, dressed in a dark suit and crisp white shirt, holding an iced coffee and carrying a black duffle bag, looking ready for a board meeting.

According to the Daily Mail, Lopez and Affleck’s children have been working behind the scenes to reunite the couple.

“The kids think Jennifer and Ben are really, deeply in love, like soul mates and they don’t want them to divorce,” the insider said.

They continued: “They want them to work it out for better or for worse, like their vows said. And they do feel that the two should continue counseling and talking it out, even if it is painful. They feel like if they do and say the right things that there could be more peace.”

The children are particularly hopeful that the couple will reconcile before Lopez’s 55th birthday on July 24.

“There is hope they could all celebrate together for a mellow family party in Los Angeles,” the source shared.

According to the insider, Lopez and Affleck’s children are actively working to help the couple find peace by highlighting each parent’s positive qualities and encouraging them to see the best in each other.

The source noted: “He is a prickly one, he can be grumpy, that is true for sure, he is not a happy-go-lucky kind of dude, even if he is very intelligent and funny. The kids are trying to get him to lighten up and let stuff go.”

On the other hand, Lopez has been advised to “work less and relax more.”

“The twins’ dad Marc Anthony has always said that: Jenny needs to relax and enjoy her life more, he told her for years and years to do this. Now Max and Emme are doing the same,” the insider added.

“They remind Ben and Jennifer not to give up and to cherish their family bonds,” they continued, noting that the children “get along great, especially Emme and Fin,” who are “best friends and talk every day.”

According to a source who spoke to UsWeekly, Affleck and Lopez recently listed their Beverly Hills mansion on the public market for $68 million as they are “in a rush” to sell the property.

“They thought they could sell it off-market but made a game-time decision to put more eyes on the property,” the insider explained. “They are in a rush to sell it. Ben especially wants to be done with the house. He was never happy there.”

The source added that the couple “never felt settled” in the 38,000-square-foot property, which boasts 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms. “‘They rarely have all the kids there at once, so it felt huge for the two of them.”

The insider noted, “‘Nothing has been decided yet as far as the divorce, but selling the house is the first step.” The property is listed by Santiago Arana of The Agency, the real estate brokerage owned by reality TV star Mauricio Umansky. The home is now listed on Zillow at the reported $68 million price.

Lopez’s continuous stay in the Hamptons, New York, is fueling rumors about a permanent relocation to the Big Apple.

A source told In Touch that she would move to the East Coast if she divorces Affleck and that she might reunite with former fiancee Alex Rodriguez.

The insider explained that before rumors of her split from Affleck began to swirl, the “Ain’t Your Mama” singer was “pushing for a full-time move to New York” and has now “decided to go ahead with that after the split.”

“She’ll probably keep a place in L.A. but she needs to get away from all the noise and the scrutiny on the West Coast,” the insider said.

Her children, Emme and Max, are another reason why she might consider moving to New York, as it would afford them a “fresh start.”

“There’s nothing to stop her from taking the kids and making a fresh start back in New York,” the insider added. “They’ve got plenty of schools back east, and she’s got a great social circle there.”
