Gigi Hadid ‘Furious’ With Suki Waterhouse Over Bradley Cooper

She described their breakup as “dark and difficult,” a remark that has left Hadid feeling “furious.”

Suki Waterhouse’s comment comes amid reports that Bradley Cooper intends to propose to Gigi Hadid, whom he has been dating for nine months.

In a recent interview with British Vogue, Waterhouse opened up again about her split from Cooper, describing it as “dark and difficult.”

She revealed that not being able to share her pain publicly was “isolating and disorientating.”

However, according to a source who spoke to Life & Style, Hadid, who has been publicly dating Cooper since last October, is now “furious” with the “Good Looking” signer over her comments.

The insider revealed, “They’ve fallen out and there’s no indication that things will ever be the same for them. Gigi is totally team Bradley and taking this up as her own cause. She isn’t about to let this go.”

Another source, however, defended Waterhouse, stating, “Suki spoke her truth. If Gigi doesn’t like it, that’s her problem.”

While discussing her breakup with Cooper during the chat with Vogue, Waterhouse said, “I really will say that I’m pretty strong at this point, but when something very public happens to you and the story behind it is dark and difficult, and you’re actually not doing well, and you can’t explain yourself to the world, that’s very isolating and disorientating.”

She continued, “‘It probably has taken a decade to work myself out and actually be able to have this expansion in my life. If you told her then this is where she would be now I wouldn’t have believed you.”

Waterhouse and Cooper dated for two years, from 2013 to 2015. The singer gained significant public attention while dating the “Maestro,” who took her to high-profile events like a state dinner at the Obama White House.

They broke up in early 2015, and soon after, Waterhouse released a scathing song titled “Brutally” about their romance.

In a February 2023 interview with The Sunday Times, Waterhouse called her split from Cooper a “colossal heartbreak.”

“I was kind of depressed for a while,” she admitted. “It stuck around for a long time. I think it was just the breakup and also just being in my twenties and in the f-cking trenches.”

She also expressed her frustration with the constant comparisons to Cooper’s new partner.

“You constantly read about how much more beautiful the new girlfriend is or whatever,” she said, per Daily Mail. “That sounds silly, but when you’re actually the one that’s heartbroken, it’s pretty rough.”

Waterhouse is now romantically involved with Robert Pattinson. The couple began dating in 2018 and welcomed their first child together in March of this year.

The “Love, Rosie” actress described her first encounter with Pattinson at a Hollywood game night as “very, very intense.”

She explained that the event was filled with “big characters” and “real heavy hitters,” and she and Pattinson bonded over their mutual discomfort, quickly finding humor in the situation.

“It was very, very intense,” she said. “We both sort of have the same slight uncomfortable-ness and quickly started giggling at the absurdity of the whole thing.”

Meanwhile, Cooper and Hadid have been quietly enjoying an intense relationship since they first got together late last year. Despite only dating for nine months, the 49-year-old actor is reportedly ready to take their relationship to the next level and propose to the 29-year-old supermodel.

Insiders claim that Cooper wants to marry Hadid. “Bradley has already determined that he is going to ask Gigi to marry him,” an insider shared with Daily Mail. “This is not even a question. They discussed family and marriage early on in their relationship.”

“They have been committed to each other and their plans for some time, and now it is just a matter of when,” the source continued. “Bradley only has a couple of projects currently in production but has nothing lined up after that. He wants to take some time away to focus on this and give Gigi the attention and love she deserves.”
