Bringing together some of Canada’s most eclectic electronic music acts and a slew of acclaimed rising superstars, alongside a profound mission rooted in community and respect, Bass Coast just wrapped yet another dazzling festival.

Having taken place at shared traditional territories of the Nłeʔkepmx and Syilx in Canada form July 12-15, Bass Coast 2024 saw organizers throw what might have arguably been their biggest fest to-date.

More than 150 artists took the decks in Merritt as the award-winning festival brought together sounds from across the genre spectrum. From drum & bass, dubstep and UK garage to techno, house and disco, there was something for everyone at this year’s Bass Coast.

Headlined by EDM.com Class of 2024 trailblazer Of The Trees and rapper Leikeli47, Bass Coast’s 2024 edition was a doozy. Additional performers included Shiba San, Ivy Lab, Mat the Alien, The Librarian, OAKK, Machinedrum, The Funk Hunters, Lazy Syrup Orchestra, Sam Binga and so many more. Ash Lauryn, Bakey and Breaka, Cinthie, Conducta and Danny Daze also made their debut.

Throughout the festival’s four days and nights, the theme of this year’s edition, “Reflection,” was honored almost religiously. Rooted in the ethos of sustainability, “Reflection” encouraged the festival’s audience to explore the intersection of creativity and conscious consumption, focusing on three pillars: REuse, REpurpose and REflect.

Bass Coast is already gearing up for 2025, with tickets for its 17th edition from July 11-14, 2025 available here.
