Fans are wondering if Blake Lively is a ‘nepo baby.’ Due to her immense fame and her appearances in many noteworthy movies and TV shows, they are curious if the actress has any familial connections in the entertainment industry. Moreover, they have been curious about Blake Lively’s parents and whether or not they were actors or had made their mark in the industry in some other way.

Curious about Blake Lively’s parents and whether she is a ‘nepo baby’ or not? Here are our answers.

Who are Blake Lively’s parents?

Blake Lively is the daughter of Ernie and Elaine Lively.

Ernie Lively was a Hollywood actor who passed away in 2021. Throughout his successful acting career that spanned 50 years, he appeared in multiple films and television shows. Some are Turner & Hooch, Passenger 57, The Sisterhood of Travelling Pants and its sequel, The West Wing, The X-Files, Murder She Wrote, and That ’70s Show.

In The Sisterhood of Travelling Pants films, Ernie played Franz Vreeland, the father of his daughter Blake’s character, Bridget Vreeland. In addition, he even dabbled in direction and production. Ernie directed the 1993 film Sandman and produced the movie Simon Says.

Meanwhile, Blake Lively’s mother Elaine Lively worked as a talent manager and has also dabbled in acting. She appeared in the 1993 online game series Return to Zork. Apart from her kids Blake and Eric with Ernie Lively, Elaine shares three kids with her first husband, Ronald Lively, namely Robyn, Lori, and Jason.

Is Blake Lively a ‘Nepo Baby?’

Yes, Blake Lively is a ‘nepo baby,’ a term used for actors whose family is already established in the industry. This is because her parents Elaine and Ernie Lively were actors.

Not just that, Ernie had Blake Lively cast in supporting roles in his aforementioned movies, Sandman and Simon Says. Furthermore, her brother Eric and her half-siblings Lori, Robyn, and Jason, are also actors. Eric Lively is known for his roles in American Pie and So Weird.

Meanwhile, Lori Lively has appeared in The Bold and the Beautiful, Two and a Half Men, and Til Death. Some of Jason Lively’s movies include National Lampoon’s European Vacation, Night of Creeps, and The Dukes of Hazzard. Lastly, Robyn Lively has appeared in Teen Witch, The Karate Kid III, and episodes of The Good Doctor, Cobra Kai, and 9-1-1: Lone Star.
