Matthew Perry’s former assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, reportedly discovered the “Friends” actor unconscious several times in the weeks leading up to his fatal overdose.

RELATED STORIES: Matthew Perry’s Assistant Reportedly Gave Actor Fatal Ketamine Injection, Law Enforcement Says

Iwamasa recently pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine, causing death, as reported exclusively by Page Six. The plea agreement stated that he administered the fatal dose that killed Perry on October 28. According to the plea agreement, the former assistant injected Perry with large quantities of ketamine, averaging 6-8 shots per day. He confessed that he had been administering the drug to Perry for nearly a month before his tragic death.

In October, Iwamasa reportedly found Perry unconscious at his home on at least two occasions. On the day of his death, Iwamasa administered a shot around 8:30 a.m. and a second dose at 12:45 p.m. However, the actor allegedly requested a third shot 40 minutes after his jacuzzi was set up. This was reportedly his final request, and Iwamasa left the actor alone to run errands, only to find Perry face down in the jacuzzi hours later.

Last week, Iwamasa, along with Erik Fleming, Dr. Mark Chavez, Dr. Salvador Plasencia, and Jasveen Sangha, who is known as the “Ketamine Queen,” were all charged in connection with Perry’s death. The outlet also reported that the actor legally obtained the drug to treat his depression but began abusing the drug in September 2023.

Perry reportedly paid approximately $55,000 to the doctors for the drug. Erik Fleming, who served as a middleman between Perry and an unnamed drug dealer, supplied the ketamine that was given to Perry on the day he passed away. Fleming pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and one count of distributing ketamine, which led to Perry’s death on August 8.
