Organized Crime Season 5 Episode 6 Release Date, Time, Where to Watch

Bad Monkey Episode 4, titled “Nothing’s Wrong With It, I Just Don’t Need It Anymore,” is the flashback chapter of the story, offering an exposition on what really happened to Yancy (Vince Vaughn) and Nick/Christopher (Rob Delaney) that set them on their current paths. We get a glimpse of Yancy’s life as part of the Miami PD, and why he ended up in the Keys. The episode also reveals how Nick transformed from a mediocre con artist to a murderer and the role Eve (Meredith Hagner) played in it.

Here is what happens at the end of Apple TV’s Bad Monkey Episode 4.

What happens at the end of Bad Monkey Episode 4?

Nick and Israel or Izzy (Zach Braff) were already running their medical insurance scam out of Midwest Medical Mobile when the former met Eve, a struggling actress-turned-waitress. Eve is dangerously ambitious but doesn’t have the necessary tools to be successful in either of her chosen fields. When Nick falls head over heels for her and promises her the world, Eve believes it and makes sure that he delivers on his promise.

It is only after the marriage that Eve learns about the scam and soon becomes a willing participant. When the authorities start looking into the shady business practices of Midwest Medical Mobile, Eve takes charge and convinces Nick to cut off his arm to make people believe that he has died at sea. The plan almost works, but then Yancy gets involved.

During this period, Yancy is still with the Miami PD. His feud with the corrupt police officer Mendez lands him in the Keys, where he becomes Rogelio’s partner. By the time the entire Nick and Eve saga starts to unfold, Mendez has been made a detective. When the elderly woman who encountered Yancy outside Izzy’s home right after the good doctor’s death recognizes him (Yancy) from a photo, she inadvertently gives Mendez enough reason to consider Yancy a suspect.

Yancy and Rosa (Natalie Martinez) finally become sexually intimate. The fact that the scene takes place in the morgue elevates its levity, which aligns perfectly with the tone of the rest of the show. Towards the end of the episode, Yancy figures everything out, including the fact that Nick is Christopher. Just as he leaves a message to Rosa about it, Nick sneaks up behind him and knocks him out.

Why did Nick kill Izzy and Phinney?

Eve convinces Nick to kill Phinney and Izzy to cover their tracks. Izzy is the one who performed Nick’s surgery in the washroom and handed Phinney the arm. After learning about Phinney’s murder, Izzy spirals out of control due to both guilt and fear. As depicted in the previous episode, he reaches out to Yancy. But before the former detective arrives, Nick knocks at Izzy’s door. Izzy seems to realize why his best friend has suddenly returned and accepts his fate just as Nick shoots him in the head.

Where is Heather?

The subplot revolving around the missing meteorologist Heather has been at the periphery of the narrative of the series. This episode reveals that Eve killed her after Heather overheard Nick and Eve’s conversation about their crimes. Eve wanted to show Nick that she had no qualms about getting her hands dirty and Heather’s presence provided her with the perfect opportunity.

In a year when TV is dominated by dragon-riding psychopaths, sith lords, and superpowered megalomaniacs, Eve is arguably one of the most terrifying villains. She even suggests to Nick that they should kill Caitlin for the same reason they murdered Izzy and Phinney. When she realizes that Nick will not go along with it, she quickly claims that Nick misunderstood what she meant. Unfortunately for Nick and Caitlin, the former is foolish enough to believe it.
