Taylor Swift Breaks Silence On Donald Trump Posting AI Images Of Her

Taylor Swift has become vocal about her plans for the 2024 elections and her position as a voter.

The famous singer bravely announced that she would vote for Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming elections, labeling the Democratic nominee a “steady-handed, gifted leader.”

Taylor Swift also took the opportunity to address Donald Trump’s use of AI images to falsely claim that she was endorsing him for president, noting that it “conjured up” her fears of AI.

On Tuesday, Swift took to her Instagram page to clarify that she would be supporting the Democratic presidential nominee come November.

However, the singer also called out former President Trump for sharing AI Images of her endorsing him for president.

Back in August, the billionaire politician took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to share fake photos of Swift and her fans, along with messages that portrayed her as a Trump supporter.

Speaking on this incident, Swift said, “Recently, I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site.”

She added, “It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.”

To that end, Swift noted that she would be supporting Harris for president in the 2024 presidential elections.

The former president took to his Truth Social account on August 18 to share what appeared to be doctored photographs and AI images that falsely showed Swift endorsing his presidential bid.

Trump’s post contained several screenshots of X posts that had women wearing “Swifties for Trump” shirts, as well as another screenshot of the “Bad Blood” singer photoshopped as Uncle Sam next to the message, “Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump.”

Another screenshot showed a fake news article that claimed that the cancellation of her recent show in Vienna due to a foiled terrorist plot led her massive fan base to turn to the billionaire politician for a “strong leader in the White House.”

In a statement to Deadline over Trump’s postings, the former president’s campaign spokesman Stephen Cheung said, “Swifties for Trump is a massive movement that grows bigger every single day.”
