Despite their recent split, RHOM’s Lenny Hochstein defends his ex-fiancée Katharina Mazepa over “gold digger” accusations.
Lenny Hochstein may have ended his relationship with Katharina Mazepa. Still, he continues to defend his ex-fiancée amid claims she used him for his money and was a “gold digger.”
An RHOM fan called Katharina Mazepa a “gold digger” in the comment section of Lenny Hochstein’s Instagam posts.
“That girl was a gold digger, Lenny. I think she was the karma bus. You and Lisa should get back together,” one commenter wrote.
“She was not,” Lenny replied. “I understand some people want to hate her, but she wasn’t the problem in my marriage, and not once in the time we were together did she ask for a single thing. Everything I did was because I wanted to.”
This all comes after one of Lenny Hochstein‘s friends put his ex-fiancée on blast. Earlier this week, publicist Nik Richie publicly slammed Katharina Mazepa on his Instagram Stories for using the Miami-based plastic surgeon and cheating on him throughout the entirety of their relationship.
“Why are you intentionally trying to hurt Lenny like this,” Nik wrote in a text message to the 29-year-old model.
“I thought you loved him. He was man of your dreams. I can’t believe this. My heart is breaking,” he continued.
“I just want to understand why you hurt Lenny after all he has done for you and your family?” Nik said in the texts.
He added, “He took you in from the streets and made you a princess. How can you cheat like this the entire time like Russian spy?”
Lenny Hochstain and Katharina Mazepa have yet to reveal the reason behind their split. However, rumors have been swirling that their relationship ended due to Katharina’s infidelity. The exes announced their split hours after the 29-year-old model posted a video on her Instagram Story sans her engagement ring and kissing a mystery blonde man.
“You jump I jump,” Katharina wrote alongside the now-deleted clip. “They say all we need in life might just be a little… push.”
Lenny and Katharina attempted to control the narrative around their breakup, but no one was buying the story they were selling.
“We recently ended our engagement,” the 58-year-old told Page Six last Wednesday. “I have decided to move forward with my life.”
The Miami-based plastic surgeon went on to wish Katharina “nothing but the best.”
Katharina Mazepa echoes similar sentiments in her statement, explaining that she and Lenny “mutually decided to end [their] engagement last month” and that the break up was done “amicably.”
Lenny proposed to Katharina in July 2023 in Ibiza, Spain, after only a year of dating despite still being married to his estranged wife, Lisa Hochstein, who stars on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Miami.
The plastic surgeon filed for divorce from Lisa in May 2022 after 12 years of marriage.
RHOM will return to Bravo this fall.
