The “Ride” singer stunned fans and social media earlier this week when she suddenly wed boyfriend Jeremy Dufrene, after a year-long romance. Del Rey and her man, who is a Louisana-based alligator tour guide, sought a marriage license earlier this week.
Dufrene and his new Mrs. have known one another for five years, and Del Rey seemed to know she had found her Mr. ASAP!
The “West Coast” singer began putting her plan to lock her future husband down as early as this Spring, and it all started with the perfect dress!

Lana Del Rey Quickly Found Her Wedding Dress
The “Lust For Life” singer quietly wed Dufrene, whom she’d known since 2019, on Thursday, September 26th. She was reportedly walked down the aisle by her father, Robert Grant.
The bride was dressed in a traditional white, floor-length gown. She added a splash of color with a blue ribbon in her hair.
The wedding was attended by the couple’s family and friends, including Del Rey’s siblings. However, her mother, Patricia, was not among the guests.

Del Rey did not have to look far for her dream dress, finding it in a New Orleans-based thrift store!
According to TMZ, the singer nabbed her dress from Vintage Market by Trashy Diva. Many brides may put finding their perfect dress closer to the big day because of lots of searching, but the future Mrs. Dufrene didn’t have to wait long. Sources say she found the dress in May!
The dress’ home was allegedly in the window of the shop, which caught Del Rey’s eye after she’d spent some time perusing other dresses in the boutique.
Sources say the price tag was “no more than $400.”

The exact inspiration behind the “Video Games” singer was not known, TMZ reported. It was unclear whether Del Rey’s goal was to nab the dress she’d wear down the aisle to marry her man!

The Dufrenes Obtained A Marriage License Earlier This Week
The newlyweds were spotted on Monday at the Lafourche Clerk of Court, seeking to obtain a marriage license, as The Blast previously reported. They had 30 days to file their license.
The wedding day was on Thursday, September 26th, at the Louisana Bayou where Dufrene is an employee.
During the early days of their relationship, the “A&W” singer reportedly kept her famous job quiet from her new man, finding it “refreshing” that he did not know who she really was! Del Rey’s first album, “Born To Die,” was released in 2011, and she rose to fame shortly afterward.

When Del Rey and Dufrene first began dating, he allegedly made the first move. Del Rey’s gal pals made sure her future husband had good intentions!
