With the release of Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, it may be a good idea to watch (or re-watch) the original to get ready for the sequel.

Released in 1988, Beetlejuice has been a fan-favorite for generations with more people gravitating to the work of director Tim Burton and the performances from Geena Davis, Alec Baldwin, Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara and, of course, Michael Keaton as “The Ghost with the Most.”

Where to Stream Beetlejuice Online

Beetlejuice in 4K Ultra HD is available to watch on Max, or to buy digitally on sale for $7.99 (reg. $14.99), or rent for $3.79 on Prime Video. The movie is also available on Apple TV.

Where To Stream Beetlejuice 2 Online

Starting on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 9 a.m, PT, or Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 12 a.m. ET, the sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will be available to purchase digitally to watch at home for $24.99 on Prime Video, Apple TV and other digital platforms. You can pre-order the film now and it will be ready for you to watch once it’s released.

Moreover, since the sequel is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice is expected to also stream on Max after its theatrical run. You’ll likely be able to stream Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice on Max sometime in late October or early November. In the meantime, tickets to see the film in theaters are still available at Fandango.com and elsewhere.

Max starts at $9.99 monthly for the ad-supported plan that includes streaming on two devices and full HD video resolution. The Max Ad-free tier includes the same offerings, plus 30 downloads to watch later, starting at $159.99 per month.

The Ultimate Ad-Free plan is $19.99 per month and includes streaming on four devices, 4K Ultra HD video quality, immersive Dolby Atmos audio and up to 100 downloads. The best deals on Max are the annual subscriptions ($99.99 to $199.99 per year), which are up to 20 percent off compared to monthly billing. For a limited time, subscribers can also get the B/R Sports Add-On for free.

Beetlejuice: Synopsis, Cast

Directed by Tim Burton, Beetlejuice follows recently-deceased Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara (Geena Davis) Maitland trying to scare the Deetz family out of their Connecticut with the help of a foul-mouthed troublemaker named Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton).

The movie also stars Catherine O’Hara, Winona Ryder, Glenn Shadix, Dick Cavett, Robert Goulet, Patrice Martinez and others.
