Brimming with carefree, uplifting energy, Anabel Englund has released a new single, “Get Busy.”
The song, out now via Ultra Records, laces Englund’s light and airy vocals through an undeniably catchy melody. Embracing a playful and sensual tone, it unapologetically explores the theme of passion with lyrics about “getting busy” on the ground—just about everywhere else.
The track also strikes a personal chord for Englund, who revealed that she spent the last six months in a self-reflective “cocoon” after ending several personal and professional relationships.
“It was terrifying to say goodbye to people I have had in my life for many years who I still love so much and yet also know it’s time for me to start a new chapter,” she said. “When I think about my new beginning a few topics come to mind. Strength in my own company and in knowing who I am, a wonderful juicy sexual awakening, a love for connection and music and stories.”
