During episode 2 of season 9, Wendy and Gizelle decided to waive the white flag on their long standing beef and attempt to repair their friendship. The two RHOP stars made peace for now after hashing out their differences over oysters. Gizelle voiced that Wendy can be condescending while Wendy thinks that Gizelle alienates people. They decided moving forward that they would vocalize any issues to each other directly. After making amends, they enjoyed a good ole’ gossip session about Mia and her new man Inc.
Elsewhere in the episode, Stacey enjoyed family time with her daughter Arabella. The RHOP newbie explained that she is separated from her husband but admitted that they are still living under the same roof. Sounds familiar. Later on, Stacey revealed to Ashley that she and her current beau, TJ, aren’t having sex until marriage as her new man is a devout Christian. Naturally, this news shocked Ashley.
Keiarna and Karen have forged a quick friendship after bonding over the dramatic GnA event from season 8. After the fight Karen checked up on Keiarna and they two developed quite the friendship. Keiarna was shocked to learn that she wasn’t invited to Gizelle’s hattitude party but Karen filled her in on all the tea. As a result Keiarna had no interest in attending Gizelle’s GnA event.
Speaking of Gizelle, Karen popped over to her house to catch up over cookies. While Karen was thankful for the hattitude party, she told Gizelle she didn’t appreciate having a non-alcoholic drink on the menu. Gizelle insisted she wasn’t being shady before revealing that she and Wendy have put their issues behind them.
Karen then addressed Keiarna not being invited to the hattitude party. Gizelle claims she didn’t have enough room and that it wasn’t personal, adding that she would send her invited to the GnA event. Karen then revealed that she was getting an award the day of the event but would make sure to stop by later.
However, the next morning, Karen threw a wrench into Ashley and Gizelle’s event when she sent out a group text inviting everyone to see her get an aware. However, the group had already committed to Gizelle and Ashley’s event, which was at the exact same time. Gizelle encouraged everyone to go to Karen’s event to avoid any drama. Yet, she question what Karen was being honored for.
Vivien and Jacqueline attended the GnA event however Jacqueline vocalized her annoyance that Karen didn’t include her in the group text. Gizelle revealed that Karen was “livid” with Jacqueline over the comments she made at the hattitude party.
Meanwhile, Karen felt she solidified her spot at the Queen of RHOP when all the ladies attended her event before Gizelle and Ashley’s party. Jassi, Mia, and Stacey rushed from Karen’s event to the GnA party before Gizelle’s deadline but it was too little too late as Gizelle had them tossed out.
