From October 10 – 13, Sacramento’s Discovery Park welcomed the head-banging, pyro-launching, speed-drumming return of Aftershock this past weekend for a four-day festival of all things heavy metal. Thursday through Sunday was headlined by different generations and genres, with Slayer, Slipknot, Iron Maiden, and Mötley Crüe headlining the main Jack Daniels Stage while many others took to the other four.
