Miami rapper Trina opens up about her secret marriage, wedding plans, thoughts on children, and why she decided not to get a prenup (prenuptial agreement) with her husband. She proudly boasts, “He brings all of his money to me. I see everything.”

Back in June, we shared that court records revealed that Trina secretly married her boyfriend Benjamin Kearse Jr. Documents showed that the couple applied for their marriage license on April 5, 2024, and got married on May 22, 2024, in Miramar, Florida. The documents showed that Trina, born Katrina Laverne Taylor, married Benjamin Leon Kearse Jr. Trina kept her engagement and marriage super private, but she is now opening up about tying the knot with her man and how things are going in their personal lives.
While recently speaking with Keyshia Ka’oir, the wife of rapper Gucci Mane, on her new podcast, ‘All Things Keyshia Ka’oir,’ Trina admitted that she did not get a prenup with her husband, because “all of his money” goes to her. She also shared that they two have been together for about a year.

As the conversation began, Ka’oir asked, “Are you as freaky as your lyrics?” Trina replied, “Sometimes, you know… And you know, being a wife, you have all the rights to be as freaky as you like. And spicy in the bedroom.” Ka’oir then brought up the fact that Trina got secretly married to her husband, to which the rapper acknowledged and unapologetically said, “I did. I did.” Ka’oir proceeded to ask, “So, now that you’re in the honeymoon phase, are you and your man just hunching around the house all day long?”
Trina laughingly admitted, “We are. Yeah, we are.” Ka’oir said she could tell by the way that Trina was carrying herself. She said, “I definitely get that vibe. I get that you’re super happy. I am so happy for you.” Trina boasted, “I am. Internally happy.” Ka’oir added, “It took a very long time, but guess what? Good things come to those who wait.” Trina added, “I truly believe that.” Keyshia Ka’oir then went on to ask Trina, “Did you get a prenup?” The rapper admitted, “I didn’t.”

When asked why not, Trina proudly boasted, “Because my husband brings all of his money to me. So, I’m in charge. He can’t spend a dime without my consent. He can’t spend a dime for nothing unless it goes through me.” She added, “That phone goes to ringing up… I see everything.”
Keyshia Ka’oir added, “That’s what I’m talking about.” Ka’oir asked Trina if she could cook and she admitted she can and likes to cook for her husband. Trina also talked about how she met her husband and plans for their wedding, which they’re looking to host next year. Trina also talked about her thoughts on having children and previously suffering a miscarriage.
