How Keith Urban ‘Copes’ With Wife Nicole Kidman’s Erotic Movie Scenes

According to a new report, the country music star has found a way to cope with the actress’s sexual roles, choosing to see the person on the screen as simply a character and not his wife.

In a recent interview, Nicole Kidman shared very candid details about her experience filming the erotic thriller, “Babygirl,” sharing that things got so intense she didn’t want to “orgasm anymore.”

A source recently revealed that Urban is unfazed by Kidman performing in very racy sex scenes because he has learned how to distinguish between the character and his wife.

“When Keith is watching her work, he sees it as her art,” the source told the Daily Mail. “She is playing characters – she isn’t playing Nicole Kidman.”

“Keith isn’t wincing during these types of scenes; he knows it is just part of the story,” they added. “He removes himself from seeing her as his wife and supports her and enjoys the work.”

The insider further claimed that the singer is not interested in knowing the details of his wife’s scripts and only cares about her “schedule” so he “figure out when they see each other and their kids.”

While Urban is okay with Kidman’s sexual movies, the Hollywood couple reportedly ensures their children, Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14, never watch their mother’s erotic films.

An insider said, “Nicole is not ashamed in any way, but she doesn’t want them to see everything she does, to her kids, she is just mom.”

“Just as much as they aren’t going to every concert their dad puts on,” the source continued. “It’s a relief for Nicole knowing that they aren’t privy to some of her more revealing work.”

Kidman and Urban and their daughters made their first major red carpet appearance as a family at the AFI Life Achievement Award Gala in April, which was to honor the actress.

“They are here to support me, and they’re very, very supportive and incredibly loving,” the Oscar winner told People Magazine of her and Urban’s daughters.

In a new interview with The Sun, Kidman opened up about her experience on the set of the erotic thriller, “Babygirl.”

The actress revealed that she was so “turned on” while performing sexual scenes that she had to take a break from filming.

According to Kidman, shooting the scenes with actors Harris Dickinson and her other co-star, Antonio Banderas, who plays her husband in the film, sometimes became very intense.

“There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to orgasm anymore,'” the actress said.

She further noted that she would sometimes say, “Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life! I’m over it.”

“It was so present all the time for me that it was almost like a burn,” Kidman added.

At the Venice Film Festival, the actress talked about her steamy role in Halina Reijn’s “Babygirl.”

Kidman noted that having a female director in charge of the film made her deeply invested in embodying all of what her role required.

“That’s what made it so compelling, was being in the hands of Halina, because I knew she wasn’t gonna exploit me,” Kidman explained, per People Magazine. “I mean, however, anyone interprets that, I didn’t feel exploited.”

She added, “It’s the story that I wanted to be a part of, that I wanted to tell. And every part of me was committed to that.”

According to Kidman, she decided to take on the role in the new movie because it was “an area [she’d] never been” in her illustrious acting career.

The actress said, “I’ve always been on a quest as an actor, I’m always going, where have I not been? And what can I explore as a human being? And this was an area I’d never been.”

“Babygirl” is directed by Halina Reijn, who previously revealed how she was inspired by Sharon Stone’s erotic thriller “Basic Instinct” and Demi Moore’s “Indecent Proposal.”

In the erotic thriller, Kidman starred as Romy, a powerful businesswoman who risks all to have an affair with her intern, Samuel, played by “The Iron Claw” actor Harris Dickinson.
