On the latest episode of her podcast, Lala Kent reacted to claims of her and Ariana Madix holding up production on Vanderpump Rules season 12 due to their alleged salary demands.
While also reacting to Scheana Shay‘s accidental confirmation of Katie Maloney‘s new relationship with Sleeping With Sirens guitarist Nick Martin, who is in the midst of a “heavy” divorce from Jenna Martin, Lala, 34, addressed the reports of wanting more money as she shared if conversations about the new episodes have been had.
“It’s being said that Ariana and I, the reason production is being held up on Vanderpump Rules, is because Ariana and I are wanting a lot of money. And although that is a rumor, I like it,” she stated on Give Them Lala, via Vanderpod Recaps on Instagram.
She then added, “There has literally been not one conversation, but let’s go with that. That sounds pretty gangster.”
Also on the podcast, Lala acknowledged that Scheana was the one who confirmed Katie’s new romance.
“She met him at the When We Were Young festival. Scheana went out, and I guess Maloney was there with her dude, and it is very much that guy,” Lala revealed, also via Vanderpod Recaps on Instagram. “They haven’t confirmed because what I read is he’s going through like a messy divorce or something and they gotta keep it quiet. And I’m like, ‘Oh, this sounds like something I was called a wh*re in the back of a back alley’ for. But who’s remembering?”
“Who’s remembering?” Lala continued, giving a nod to Katie’s harsh reaction to her past relationship with Randall Emmett, 53, who she began dating when he was still married to now-ex-wife Ambyr Childers, 36.
“But Scheana being the clueless — I love her. She lives in the clouds and doesn’t even realize it — she was on her podcast talking about what a great experience she had with him. Meanwhile, it has not been confirmed, and she just like, fully confirms it,” Lala added. “I don’t know if she was yelled at. [But] it’s just very funny.”
During an episode of Scheananigans last week, Scheana reflected on her initial meeting with Nick, saying that despite negative rumors about the musician, he “could not have been nicer.”
“We were all by the artist’s trailers and the hangout area, and him and Katie were walking up while I was standing at the taco truck in line getting food. I said ‘hi’ to her. Her hair’s like this really cute reddish right now. She introduced me to her boyfriend,” Scheana revealed. “[He] was such a sweet guy … [and his band was] really good.”
