“Power” fans have been in shambles ever since 50 Cent’s latest interview with The Breakfast Club made rounds on social media.
As we previously shared, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson thinks Omari Hardwick has a high opinion of himself claiming that he thinks that the actor “overvalues himself.”He pointed out that the actor hasn’t taken on any big projects since Power ended in 2020.

“I think he overvalues himself,” 50 told the morning show hosts. “Because…it’s been a long time since he’s been in Power, why are we not excited about the new projects?” Charlamagne Tha God then asked, “What new projects? I didn’t know…”
“See, that’s what I’m talking about,” 50 asserted. “If there was noise going on, if he was that big of a draw, then we would see noise, we would see new things happening, we’d see you out where you’re actively in a place where they’re looking for you.”
When asked if they’re still on good terms, 50 quickly responds, “No, because you leave it like it’s me not giving you the money.”
Well it didn’t take long for other cast members from the hit show to start speaking out about 50’s comments. Naturi Naughton who played the role of Ghost’s wife, Tasha recently spoke with TMZ and shared her thoughts on the viral situation.

“That’s insane to me, Omari is literally the epitome of Power. Omari Hardwick started this amazing journey and I don’t know all of what happened with 50 and O but I’ll say this, I love Omari Hardwick. He’s an amazingly talented human and he’s also a good person but there would be no Power without Ghost.”
If you remember this back and forth between 50 Cent and Omari Hardwick first began in a June 2022 discussion on The Pivot podcast, Hardwick disclosed that he earned $150,000 for each episode of Power. He felt this amount was inadequate for someone he described as “the face of the network.”
“I still haven’t made what I should have made. I still never made the money—no, the money, I never made what I should have made. Never,” Harwick shared. “Period. It’s happening now, finally.”
He mentioned that he had to borrow money from 50 Cent during the summers to support his family but took pride in paying it back. He also noted that both 50 and producer Courtney Kemp knew he was being underpaid since they were in higher positions within the company. However, it appears he held STARZ more accountable as a network than he did 50 and Kemp.
