Gisele Bündchen & Tom Brady Allegedly Considered Having A Third Child

Two years after Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady parted ways for good, reports have emerged revealing that the duo “were open” to having a child before their marriage hit the rocks.

The supermodel and the former footballer already shared two kids during the course of the marriage. They have since continued to co-parent their kids as they move on with the new chapter of their lives.

Gisele Bündchen is now in a relationship with her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente, while Tom Brady is currently single.

According to Page Six, Bündchen and Brady had no issues expanding their family despite already having two kids.

The two welcomed a son, Benjamin, in December 2009 and a daughter, Vivian, in December 22021. Meanwhile, Brady already had a son, John, with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan.

Despite their readiness to add one more, it was not something they really tried to focus on while they were still together.

“Gisele and Tom were open to having another child during their marriage,” a close source told the outlet about the couple. “But it wasn’t something they were actively trying to do.”

The duo eventually went their separate ways in October 2022, ending their 13 years of marriage after months of speculations that they were having marital issues.

While Bündchen and Brady never discussed in detail why they decided to end their relationship, the supermodel was quick to begin a new love chapter for herself.

Months after the split, she began a relationship with her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente, per Page Six.

The two had initially tried to keep things under the radar, but they were spotted having fun outings and vacations together, which only further confirmed that they were an item.

Bündchen was also seen raving about him in a cover story for Vanity Fair, admitting that he was the kind of person she would want around her kids.

“He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust,” the supermodel told the outlet in March 2023. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy.”

In February of this year, sources confirmed that the duo is “deeply in love” and packed on the PDA on Valentine’s Day.

Last month, news broke that Bündchen and Valente have a child on the way and were looking forward to being parents.

“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life, and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” a source said about the couple, per PeopleMagazine.

A different source later shared that Bündchen feels “blessed to be having another baby, and she’s soaking up every moment of this pregnancy,” per Page Six.

They also mentioned that she had “always known she wanted a large family,” having grown up in a similar household herself.

The insider continued, “Gisele’s sisters are her best friends, and she’s really close to all of them, especially her twin sister, Pati. So she’s happy to be able to give that to her own children.”

As for Brady, he remains single and has been for quite some time after being initially linked with Irina Shayk in 2023, per PageSix.

Recently, a photo of Brady with an unidentified woman went viral, sparking speculation that he had begun a new relationship.

However, a source clarified that this was not the case and that the former footballer is “super focused on his kids and work.”

Regarding what Brady thinks of Bündchen and Valente’s baby news, sources claimed that it came as a huge shock to the former Super Bowl MVP.

“Tom knew that things were serious between Gisele and Joaquin but he never imagined they would be having a child together,” the insider recently told the outlet. “It just wasn’t something that was on his radar. So when Gisele broke the news to him, he was stunned, to say the least.”

The insider continued, “At the end of the day, Tom’s sole focus is on his children and his career. What Gisele decides to do with her own life is really none of his business.”
