Jax Taylor Plays ‘Hook Up’ Card After Estranged Wife’s Shade

The podcaster quickly cleared up his former wife’s narrative on social media, which tilts towards bashing him, disclosing that she still asks them to meet in private despite their ongoing divorce.

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s marriage hit the rocks this year when she filed for divorce after five years of marriage and a son together.

Taylor hopped on a podcast to drop some shocking news on where he stands with his former partner and backed it up with serious accusations of hypocrisy and double standards.

According to him, Brittany regularly asks him to come over for dinner or drinks despite her usual routine of demonizing him on air and online. In his words:

“She’ll go out and publicly humiliate me and call me every name in the book. But, three days ago, she’s like, ‘Hey, you want to come over and have dinner? You want to come over and have drinks?'”

He added that the mom-of-one also told him to be tight-lipped about her beyond casual invitations, perhaps to give her narrative some legitimacy.

The now viral clip of Taylor’s chat on Bravo’s “Hot Mic Podcast” on Thursday caught the attention of Cartwright. The reality star commented on Instagram that she was merely extending a hand of friendship to him for the sake of their son, and now he has ruined it.

Per TMZ, Taylor also claimed that he decided not to salvage their failing marriage amid his estranged wife filing for divorce, and that decision came as a rude shock to the TV personality.

Opinions trailed the “Vanderpump Rules” claims about Cartwright, and a lot of internet users were torn between being shocked about Cartwright’s request and agreeing Taylor was always so vindictive and sucked at keeping secrets.

“Of course he’s gonna use that against you, it’s his M.O,” an interested user in the ongoing drama affirmed. This user also wrote:

“I believe him, but that’s what Brittany get! Jax has a history of doing this to people and she’s protected him each time. He sits and airs out people business & labels it being honest. She didn’t think he would do it to her & every time he does. He gets off on embarrassing her.”

“Don’t believe a word he says,” one more user noted, as another described the former couple as “both equally vile and disgusting.”

The Blast reported that Cartwright had a short fling with Julian Sensley, a friend of Taylor’s, shortly before filing for divorce.

The news of the fling reportedly shook Taylor, and it was one of the catalysts for his inpatient mental health facility journey to help him work on his “serious anger issues.”

For Cartwright, the fling was not preplanned and was only fueled by the resentment harbored over Taylor’s mistreatment of her emotions over the years in their marriage.

In her confession to Bravo’s executive producer Alex Baskin, the celebrity stated: “We did not have a ‘no dating in the friend group’ policy. I was just so mad at Jax. I didn’t care if I hurt his feelings like that. Why should I care.”

A seemingly unapologetic Cartwright raved about Sensley’s looks, admitting that she felt no guilt, especially after Taylor’s affair with Faith Stowers. According to her, “Jax has no legs to stand on. He hooked up with my friend; let’s all remember that.”

Cartwright’s shade definitely touched the right spot for getting Taylor this riled up. She popped up in a new influencing collaboration with Bellesa Boutique to help promote their new set of vibrators and ultimately killed two birds with one stone.

She uploaded a post showcasing her confidence and new journey as a single woman focused on herself as she holds a range of adult self-care toys. She accompanied the empowering post with the caption:

“POV: in my self-love era. I’ve always done everything on my own, so I’m not going to stop now.”

She urged her followers to sign up for a giveaway, writing, “Sexual wellness is an essential part of self-love, and every woman (and every single mom!) deserves to feel that.”

The podcaster was convinced her estranged husband’s 30-day stay at the treatment facility was a mere vacation with no positive reflection on his personality problems. According to The Blast, Cartwright stated:

“I don’t feel like he changed at all in those 30 days. And the reason, I’m sure it’ll be on the show as well, but, you know, a lot of rage texting and stuff was still going on the entire time that he was in rehab.”

“So, for me, I was just noticing, like, this is just going to be constant. Like, if you’re in therapy seven hours a day, and you’re still finding time to call me names and cuss me out? And send me rage texts? Then you’re obviously not evergonna change,” Cartwright argued on Bravo’s “Hot Mic” podcast.

It’s safe to say it’s a full-on media war between Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor as they proceed with their divorce.
