West Coast Rap icon and entertainment mogul Ice Cube is addressing all the “people who think he’s a Donald Trump supporter” and endorsed the political candidate as he boldly and unapologetically tells them, “You got me f***ed up.”

While speaking on ‘The Baller Alert Show,’ Ice Cube said, “People who think I’m MAGA or a Donald Trump supporter and all that, or that I went out there and voted for the Republicans and all this, man, they got me f***ed up, you know? [I] never said that. They have no proof. I ain’t never endorse a candidate. It’s just a narrative that’s wrong.”
When asked why he thinks people have him f***ed up and believe that he’s a MAGA or Donald Trump supporter, Ice Cube said, “I think because when I put out the ‘Contract With Black America’ both parties came to me. I discussed it with the Democrats and I discussed it with the Republicans. And the Democrats was like, ‘Yo, after we win, we’ll deal with it.’ And the Republicans said, ‘Yo, you got some good ideas, can we use a few of them and put them in our plan?”

The rapper, actor, and director continued to share, “Now, [the Republicans’ plan] was called the ‘Platinum Plan.’ That’s not my plan. That’s theirs. That was done in their own think-tank and they came up with that. Mine was called, ‘The Contract With Black America.’”
Cube explained, “So, they plucked a few things out of that contract and put it in their plan. And people are saying that was my plan, and so, they’re running with it. But, they’re the ones [that are] stupid because that’s not the truth.”

Cube added, “Once you are an impactful person and you talk to politicians, they will also try to use you as a political football and that’s really what happened. Everybody wants me on their team.”
He continued, “I mean, it’s the game. It is the game. But, we also got to be smart enough to know it’s a game. If y’all seen me at the conventions and on the stump, then that’s one thing.”

Cube insisted, “But, you know, I haven’t said anything this election. Not one thing. People [are] saying [that] I’m telling people not to vote, that’s bullsh*t. I never told people not to vote. I told people you should get something for your vote and nothing’s wrong with that.”
As Ice Cube mentioned in his interview, back in July 2020, he unveiled a 22-page document online called, “The Contract With Black America;” which tackled racism in the United States, including police brutality. While speaking on ‘The Breakfast Club‘ days after unveiling his contract, Ice Cube shared more about it and later talked about speaking with each political candidate at the time.
