If Eliminate’s debut album Get Off The Internet was a wild first step into uncharted territory, his latest offering is a masterful sprint through the very frontier he helped define.

With his latest album, 404: Get Off The Internet [Redux], the EDM.com Class of 2021 star transforms the vibrant chaos of its predecessor into a refined, imaginative project that captivates and thrills in equal measure.

It hasn’t yet been a full year since the release of his original album, but as if booting up a forgotten machine, “404 (Intro)” revs to life with evocative soundscapes. Here, nostalgia seeps through layers of cinematic production, punctuated by the mechanical whirring of a dial-up tone. Turning the intensity up a few notches, it morphs seamlessly into “Thought Experiment,” a track that bursts to life with rapid-fire trap synths.

The pulse of the album beats particularly strong in “I’M ALREADY A WASTE (Poison Oak),” a bold standout. The track bridges eras as its upbeat drum & bass cadence races alongside pop-punk vocals that drip with youthful yearning. Eliminate balances nostalgia and innovation with precision, producing a cut that feels familiar while embracing his characteristically otherworldly tones and forward-thinking production tactics.

As the album delves deeper, “TWISTED (MOREPWR)” casts a spell of dark allure as acid-tinged arpeggios coil like smoke around a techno beat that radiates with intensity. The track paints a stark, industrial landscape where every flicker of light is met with encroaching shadows.

As the project’s closer “ESCAPE (Get Off The Internet)” comes to form, it brings with it an ethereal ascent. Shimmering synths ripple across a euphoric arrangement, evoking a sense of freedom and wonder that’s almost gamified in its triumphant beauty. It’s a moment of catharsis, a chance to exhale and reflect on one of the most innovative albums in electronic music this year.
