A new trailer has been released for the indie thriller Inheritance, starring Phoebe Dynevor and Rhys Ifans.
The film is directed by Neil Burger (Divergent, The Illusionist, The Marsh King’s Daughter), from a screenplay written by Burger and Olen Steinhauer. Ciara Baxendale and Majd Eid are also featured in the cast.
The film’s synopsis reads: “When Maya (Dynevor) learns that her father was once a spy, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an international conspiracy.
“In her quest for answers, Maya becomes a target and must travel the globe, mastering her father’s skills and unraveling the mysteries of his past in this gripping espionage thriller.”
This movie definitely has an indie feel to it, but it seems like the story might be solid. Check out the trailer below, and watch Inheritance in select US theatres on January 24th.
