After a dramatic on-air spat with Dorinda Medley, Margaret Josephs is setting the record straight about the real reason their live event was canceled—and it’s not what the rumors suggest.
The drama between the two Real Housewives stars unfolded on a recent episode of Jeff Lewis Live, when the 57-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star and 59-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum got into a heated exchange. The conversation quickly went off the rails as they clashed over a comment Margaret Josephs allegedly made about Peter Panos, the host of their joint live tour, “Blonde Ambition: A Real Housewives Experience.”
In the tense moment, Dorinda firmly told Margaret Josephs, “Don’t speak for me. Just do me a favor — don’t speak for me, okay?” Margaret fired back, “Well, don’t speak for me.” The back-and-forth continued, with Dorinda claiming Margaret had made a remark about her preference for Peter, which Margaret denied.
Despite some confusion on-air about what was actually said, Dorinda pressed on, accusing Margaret of saying she liked Peter better, while Margaret tried to put the issue to bed. Jeff Lewis, the show’s host, even stepped in, confirming that he didn’t think Margaret had said what Dorinda was accusing her of.
Fast forward to the aftermath: the tension from that argument has led some to believe that the fallout was the reason behind the cancellation of their much-anticipated live event scheduled for December 2 at New York City’s City Winery. But Margaret is shutting down any rumors of a “feud.”
In a comment on an Instagram post by Bravo Housewives, Margaret explained that the cancellation had nothing to do with drama between her and Dorinda. According to the RHONJ star, the real reason for pulling the plug on the show was simply a scheduling conflict—nothing more, nothing less. “This is HW bickering between friends,” Margaret wrote. “The show was canceled because of scheduling changes and multiple events the same evening. It’s not that deep.”
