Viewers are eager to learn more about the ending of Kraven the Hunter, including spoilers about who died and how the Hunter’s future in SSU is set up. Over the film’s course, the audience witnesses Kraven’s tough childhood and his complex bond with his father. After being graced with powers in an unexpected confrontation, he embarks on a path of vengeance and becomes the greatest hunter. Specifically, many are also curious about Kraven’s relationship with Chameleon.

Without further delay, here are all the details revealing what happened at the movie’s end.

What happens at the end of Kraven the Hunter?

The film’s ending features a fully-formed Kraven reflecting on the tragic possibility of pursuing his brother, Dmitri.

The final moments witness a bloody showdown of Kraven and Calypso against The Foreigner and Rhino. During this thrilling action sequence, Kraven leverages his enemy traps to kill their henchmen. However, The Foreigner appears and makes him hallucinate spiders, causing distraction from the battle. Nonetheless, Calypso comes to Kraven’s rescue to defeat the Foreigner.

Kraven then brutally injures Rhino, solidifying his victory. However, he soon realizes that his battle against Rhino was a setup, orchestrated by his ruthless father, Nickolai. He used Kraven to eliminate his biggest rival, Rhino, making him go through immense pain and suffering in childhood.

Thus, Kraven decides to take matters into his own hands and put an end to his father’s mind games. Through his eyes, he witnesses a bear tearing apart his father, concluding his chapter for once and for all. However, the story ends heartbreakingly for Kraven, who witnesses his brother taking on his father’s criminal empire.

Kraven the Hunter vs. Dmitri’s Chameleon set up for Kraven 2

Yes, the Kraven vs. Dmitri’s Chameleon showdown is possible for if at all, Kraven 2 happens.

The final moments of Kraven the Hunter depict a tense interaction between Kraven and his brother, Dmitri. Instead of shutting down Nikolai’s criminal empire, Dmitri—who now goes by the moniker The Chameleon—claims it in a shocking turn of events. He reveals he took the help of Dr. Warren to transform into his new self.

The thrilling final sequence showcases a fully-evolved Kraven, donning his comic-accurate puff jacket, thinking of the possibility of hunting down Dmitri, AKA Chameleon, next. Quite evidently, this sequence plants seeds for a potential sequel.
