The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice reacted to a rumor that her oldest daughter Gia Giudice is “pregnant with her first child,” and she shared how she believes the rumor started, as Dolores Catania and Kim “D” DePaola reacted.
Gia is currently filming Making It In Manhattan, a Bravo spinoff featuring the kids of Real Housewives. Back in September, the 23-year-old addressed her plans to eventually move in with boyfriend Christian Carmichael, though she said she isn’t rushing.
On Teresa’s Turning The Tables podcast, Kim D. brought up an online rumor that Gia is “pregnant with her first child.”
“I’m laughing,” Teresa responded, shutting down the claims. “This is where I think they got it from…”
“[Gia] posted a picture of her and [her boyfriend] Christian, and then [one of] me and her. We were in Vegas. We were celebrating my stepson’s 21st birthday. And I think she made a comment, like, her caption was… ‘These are the photos I’m gonna show my kids one day.’ That’s it!” Teresa explained.
Dolores and Kim D. then reacted.
“You really have to think where [the rumor] comes from,” said Dolores. “I mean they can pick something up from like nothing.”
“It’s all over the internet,” added Kim, who shared that her friend Dana first told her about the rumor. “I go, ‘No [she’s not].’”
Earlier this month, executive producer Andy Cohen addressed the fate of RHONJ amid the show’s hiatus.
“You’re not gonna get [an update] for, like, a year, so everyone stop asking,” said Andy in an interview with Us Weekly. “And I keep saying you are going to get nothing, so stop asking! … We are in no rush [to make a decision]. We’re really gratified with what’s on the slate for next year.”
Dolores also told the outlet: “I’m a realistic pessimist, so I’m just being very Italian and being like, ‘Ah, it’s over. It’s done.’ But I say that every year … I, every year, thought I was never coming back [to the show]. That’s just me being, if you want to say humble, if that’s how you want to call it. Or not taking it for granted.”
