Star Wars fan Kai Patterson took Dave Filoni’s Star Wars: Ahsoka series and cut it into a feature-length film. He also altered some of the scenes, featuring different elements that he would’ve liked to see in the show.

I just learned of this, and he previously did fan edits for Obi-Wan Kenobi and Boba Fett. This fan-edit of Ahsoka is awesome and it actually improves on a lot of things. It really tells this story in a great and tight way.

I’ve included a couple of trailers for Star Wars: Ahsoka – The Patterson Cut along with a video that features a breakdown of all the changes that were made. To watch the full film, you have to click here where you can download it.

Patter says: “I am so excited to be able to share this fan edit with those who have a Disney Plus membership! I have done this re-edit out of the love I have for the Star Wars community and the positive responses I’ve gotten from my other fan edits of Obi-Wan and Boba Fett.

“I actually enjoyed most of the Ahsoka show, so this was more of an exercise in more concise storytelling for me. There were things that I wanted to change based on my own personal opinion, but for the most part I just spent 10 months working on this movie to see what I could do to improve what we got.

“I definitely spent way too long on this, but what can I say? I love Star Wars that much! I did 115 VFX shots for this movie, whether they were small changes or big changes, they were all important to the story I wanted to tell.

“I want to be very clear, this is my own artistic interpretation, based on my personal opinion and taste. If it resonates with you, then that’s awesome. If it doesn’t, no worries, rewatching the full show on Disney Plus is always an option!

“This is all done as a fan, for the fans, and I am not making any money from it. I really hope you enjoy this 2.5 hr movie interpretation of the Ahsoka show.”

Check out the video below and watch the full film if you’re so inclined! It’s worth it!

‘Bring Them Down’ is probably one of the best films I’ve ever seen. A brutal and believable examination of old family grudges in rural communities. Superbly shot. Sharp and to the point. As beautiful a piece of art as it is a moral reminder of how anger can lose everyone the battle.
