Alexis Bellino announces she is exiting RHOC
On December 20, 2024, Alexis Bellino announced her exit from RHOC.
The reality TV star explained on the Going Rogue podcast that she was not called back for the show’s 19th installment. The 47-year-old further stated that she was not expecting to be retained, so it never came across as a shock for her. She added:
”It was a hard conversation. … I guess I wasn’t really prepared [because] I didn’t think contracts were coming out — like, I thought we had more time. …”
Bellino also explained that her departure from the show was a relief for her and ”nobody wants rejection,” but she already faced this in Season 8. She also said that she continues to be friends with co-stars Jennifer Pedranti and Katie Ginella. Additionally, Bellino is attempting to reconcile with Tamra Judge and Heather Paige Dubrow.
The trio felt hurt by their altercation with Shannon Storms Beador in Season 18. For the unaware, Bellino failed to get along with the latter during her comeback as a friend in Season 18. This all started with her ex-husband’s defamation lawsuit against Beador. (via People) Moreover, Bellino’s engagement with Beador’s former partner, John Janssen, added to the conflict.
Bellino further opened up on her feud with Shannon Storms Beador in the podcast and how it affected her comeback. She said,” I didn’t know after that scene, how do I fit in? I still thought there might be a way they can make it work for everybody to come back. But you know, the cards played the way they did.” Bellino also mentioned that she wasn’t brought back as she wasn’t a fan favorite, highlighting Beador’s popularity among the audience.
Before Season 18, Alexis Bellino was a main cast member of RHOC from Seasons 5-8.
