Fans of Quentin Tarantino and phyical media can can celebrate as Kill Bill: Volume 1 (2003) and Kill Bill: Volume 2 (2004) are set to make their highly-anticipated debut in stunning 4K Ultra HD.

Following the October release of Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown in 4K, Lionsgate continues to deliver Tarantino’s iconic works with this latest upgrade. Both films, starring Uma Thurman in her unforgettable role as The Bride, are now available for pre-order and will officially release on January 21, 2025.

The 4K Blu-ray editions are currently listed for pre-order on Amazon and Walmart, with Walmart pricing each film at $27.96. It’s worth noting that Amazon often matches Walmart’s prices, so pre-order customers on either platform can expect the lowest price offered before release day.

For collectors, Lionsgate has also announced Steelbook editions for both films, adding an extra layer of appeal for fans who appreciate premium packaging.

These 4K Blu-rays come loaded with bonus content that deepens the experience of Tarantino’s stylish revenge saga.

The release of the Kill Bill films in 4K comes as Tarantino inches closer to completing his self-imposed ten-film limit. The director has been vocal about his decision to stop after ten films.

“If you think about the idea of all the movies telling one story and each film is like a train boxcar connected to each other, this one would sort of be the big show-stopping climax of it all,” Tarantino shared in a 2019 interview. “And I could imagine that the 10th one would be a little more epilogue-y.”

While fans eagerly await news on Tarantino’s next project, The Movie Critic, revisiting Kill Bill in 4K Ultra HD is the perfect way to celebrate his enduring legacy and masterful storytelling.

Get ready to experience The Bride’s bloody, action-packed quest for vengeance in 4K.
