Curious about whether Paramount+ has renewed or canceled The Madison for Season 2? Here’s the latest update.

Created and written by Taylor Sheridan, this neo-western series centers on a New York family whose lives fall apart following a tragedy. They embark on a trip to rural Montana, where they try to deal with their grief and also reconnect with each other. With the debut season having just premiered, many want to know if additional installments are in the works.

Has Paramount+ canceled The Madison or renewed it for Season 2?

The Madison has already been renewed for Season 2 by Paramount+.

Back in August, Deadline reported that The Madison Season 2 will begin filming in September at the 450,000 sq. ft. production campus in Fort Worth, Texas. It has now been revealed that Season 2 has completed production. Sources also told the outlet that the recently shot series is perceived as a second season. However, there’s a slight chance it could be designated as a “Part 2” for Season 1. Paramount+ has yet to make an official renewal announcement as of yet.

Earlier, while speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Patrick J. Adams, who plays Russell McIntosh, revealed that everyone involved in the show would gladly film this series forever. Citing the reason, he added, “We’ve found something kind of miraculously special here, and as long as it’s a story that people want to hear, we’d be happy to tell it.”

Executive producer and director Christina Voros also shared similar thoughts. She noted that after filming Season 2, the love among the cast, whom she describes as family, has only increased. She revealed that the storylines chosen for the series will be relatable not just for Yellowstone fans, but also for new viewers. “It is a simpler story in many ways on the surface, but infinitely more complicated, emotionally, underneath it. There are an abundance of river references to be made when describing The Madison,” she elaborated.

The Madison premiered on March 14, 2026, and featured a total of 6 episodes. At the time of writing, the release date for Season 2 has not yet been disclosed.
