Melissa Gorga clapped back at her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice’s recent claims about Melissa and her husband Joe Gorga. Meanwhile, Teresa suggested that Real Housewives of New Jersey wouldn’t have continued “as long as it did” if she had watched it while it aired. She also said that if her late dad had seen it, he would have “beat the s**t out of my brother.”

RHONJ is currently on hiatus amid a cast divide. Host Andy Cohen recently suggested that it won’t return until 2026. Some fans believe it may not return at all.

Recently, Teresa claimed on her podcast that she once gave Joe a truck, though he never bought her birthday gifts after he married Melissa. She also accused Melissa of attempting to take credit for Teresa’s mom’s cooking.

On January 3, Melissa reacted to a Reality Blurb headline about Teresa’s recent claims.

“Is she still talking about us??” wrote Melissa in the comments of the Instagram post. “Pretty crazy for someone who wanted nothing to do with us and doesn’t care about anything we do?”

On her Turning The Tables podcast, Teresa addressed how she didn’t watch the seasons until recently.

“If I would’ve watched the show [as it aired], it probably wouldn’t have continued as long as it did,” she said. “Because if I would’ve watched the things that my brother said about me, I think I would’ve totally reacted to it.”

“It really hurt me what I saw, what my brother was doing on camera,” she said. “And I just couldn’t watch it … [because] I know myself. I’m crazy, meaning I’ll react.”

Teresa said she didn’t want to “cause problems in our family.”

“My mother watched every single episode, but she never discussed it with me … She knew everything,” Teresa explained. “My father never watched it. [If] my father would have watched it too, my father would have probably beat the s**t out of my brother.”

Kim D. then brought up a rumor that Teresa’s dad slapped Joe Gorga at the infamous christening when he found out what Joe had called Teresa.

“Maybe,” said Teresa. “My father was no joke.”
