A woman from Florida got caught up after she accidentally hit up a narcotics investigator while trying to purchase some drugs, according to authorities.
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) reported that 41-year-old Octavia Wells thought she was reaching out to a dealer to buy some fentanyl before heading out of town. Instead, she sent that message straight to a BCSO narcotics investigator.

The investigator reportedly played it cool and set up a meet with Wells at a nearby gas station. When she showed up, instead of finding a dealer waiting for her, she was met by a squad of BCSO Special Investigations Division officers.
