Wondering if the much-talked-about Eden movie trailer seemingly starring Ana de Armas, Sydney Sweeney, and Vanessa Kirby is real or just another internet creation? Fans are buzzing, especially as the video racks up thousands of views.

Let’s break down the story behind this viral trailer, the film’s actual release details, and what makes Eden one of the most anticipated thrillers of the year.

Is the new Eden trailer real or fake?

The seemingly new Eden movie trailer, which has gained 125,981 views, as of writing, is fake.

Screen Culture, a well-known YouTube channel, created the video to spark excitement around upcoming films by crafting concept trailers from footage of various projects. They regularly label their videos as “concept trailers,” and the Eden teaser follows this pattern.

The channel also produced similar fan-made trailers like Ballerina (2025) and Anaconda, editing them to resemble official releases without any connection to studios or production companies.

When does Sydney Sweeney and Ana de Armas’ Eden come out?

The official release date for Eden has not been confirmed yet. The film, directed by Ron Howard, was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 7, 2024. Although Amazon Prime Video has acquired the distribution rights, there is no set streaming or theatrical release date. It is speculated that Eden may arrive on Prime Video sometime in 2025.

The movie, based on the true story of settlers on Floreana Island in the Galápagos, stars Jude Law, Vanessa Kirby, Ana de Armas, and Sydney Sweeney, among others, in key roles. Its TIFF premiere received mixed reviews, with Ana de Armas’ performance earning particular praise. However, the unclear release schedule has caused confusion, amplified by fan-made trailers like Screen Culture’s teaser.

Despite the excitement generated by these concept trailers, fans should rely on official channels for accurate updates on Eden’s release.
