Jesse James And His Wife Abandon Their Divorce Quest Again

According to court records, the couple has called off their divorce for the third time. Their recent estrangement made many believe their union was over as they fired domestic violence allegations against each other.

Surprisingly, Jesse James and Bonnie Rotten sparked reconciliation rumors a month after filing their abuse claims. The couple tied the knot in June 2022 and went down the divorce path twice in December 2022 before welcoming their son, Bishop, in June 2023.

James and Bonnie’s third trip down the divorce road began on November 13, 2024, when the former adult film actress filed to end their marriage. She also pushed for a temporary restraining order, citing physical violence and abuse.

James responded with similar claims and seemed ready to conclude his marriage to Bonnie. Court records show the former porn star filed an amended divorce petition on December 3, while the automotive mechanic filed a co-parenting program certification on December 5.

They had a hearing on December 13, but days later, James changed his tune. He shared a picture of Bonnie on December 28, captioning the Instagram post: “Cheaper to Keep’er….. …..but not by much.” He further fueled the reconciliation rumors by liking a post his wife shared on December 31, per In Touch.

Days after sparking reunion speculations, James and Bonnie filed a “notice of nonsuit” on January 6. The filing highlighted their decision to abandon the divorce proceedings, with the court accepting their demand and listing their case as “closed.”

It was unclear what influenced the couple to call off their divorce case, but it was not uncommon, given their history. Bonnie filed to end her marriage to James for the first time on December 1, 2022. The duo reconciled for a few days before she pushed to finalize their union on December 6, 2022.

However, days later, James and Bonnie filed a joint “notice of nonsuit,” and the court dismissed their second divorce attempt. Over a decade before their marriage, the West Coast Choppers founder was married to Bullock from 2005 to 2010.

James’ ties to the Hollywood veteran ended when Bullock filed for divorce in Texas. She pulled the plug on their marriage following years-long claims of infidelity, which her ex-husband eventually admitted were true.

In 2017, James confessed, “Yeah, I did cheat on my wife, yeah. I stood up and took accountability for it, and apologized. And that’s end of story.” He faced a similar scandal in 2022 when Bonnie implied he had been unfaithful while she was pregnant with their son.

Two years later, she accused him of far worse in her third divorce filing, painting him as a repeated abuser. However, The Blast shared that James responded to Bonnie’s allegations with scathing claims of his own, calling her out for years-long domestic violence.

James filed for a temporary restraining order against Bonnie last November, asking the court to keep her away from him and their son until they arranged a child custody hearing. He cited physical abuse as the reason for the petition, detailing multiple alleged incidents.

The automotive mechanic accused Bonnie of attacking him and attempting to break his finger before their June 2022 wedding. He claimed she became increasingly violent during their marriage, including when she was pregnant with their son.

The former adult film actress, per James’ claims, poked a hole in his neck with her thumbnail and caused severe injuries after kicking him from behind following a heated argument. He alleged that her abuse extended to their pets, noting she frequently hit the animals.

Weeks after his third divorce from Bonnie made waves, James was sued by a disgruntled client over a custom firearm order. The Blast reported that a man named David Chace slammed the entrepreneur and his Jesse James Firearms Unlimited company for failing to meet the terms of their agreement.

The plaintiff said he contacted James for a custom-made pistol set in 2018 and paid a $5,000 deposit. Chace paused the order in 2020 but permitted its continuation months later in April. However, he changed his order from a pistol set to a single custom firearm.

James reportedly agreed to the change but failed to complete the order. Chace argued that the pistol was not developed satisfactorily, accusing the media personality of being “hostile and inappropriate.” He claimed he spent $75,000 without positive updates and sued for a refund.
