The Game is stepping up to support his community as wildfires keep slamming his hometown.

Early Friday morning, January 10, the Los Angeles rapper was seen near the Rose Bowl Stadium, lending a hand to folks who had to evacuate due to the fires. In a video shared by NBCLA reporter Lauren Coronado, you can catch the rapper—real name Jayceon Taylor—rocking a mask while he talks about how he’s been dropping off water and coffee for those affected and even volunteered to help clean firetrucks for the dedicated firefighters battling the blaze. He also shared that he and his family had to evacuate as well.

“We’re doing everything we can man,” Game said in the video. “I’m just out here trying to figure it out, but as long as my kids are safe, my mom is safe, I’m good. Just out here with the people.”

The Game is just one of many celebrities stepping up to support Angelenos during this tough time. In a heartfelt Instagram post earlier this week, the Born 2 Rap artist shared his sadness over the wildfires and urged everyone to prioritize their safety. He even promised to help those impacted by the fires by covering a week’s stay at an Airbnb for them, free of charge. And he’s not alone in this effort. Snoop Dogg has also been doing his part, collecting and distributing clothes for victims at his store, Snoopy’s Clothing, in Inglewood.

“This is just sad. Los Angeles is really hurting right now,” The Game wrote. “If you are anywhere near fires… please pack what’s necessary & evacuate immediately !!!!!!!!”

If you’re in Los Angeles, The Dream Center is stepping up to provide urgent support and resources for those impacted by the devastating fires. They’ve opened a shelter and are actively accepting donations like food, baby supplies, cleaning items, and more.
