March closes out strong with a busy slate of new hip-hop releases. This week, we get the highly anticipated album from a rapper facing serious legal issues, the newest project from a rapper-producer from Canada, a mixtape from a buzzing Michigan rhymer and more.

Lil Durk Drops Deep Thoughts Album

Lil Durk is currently battling a major legal case where he has been charged with murder-for-hire in connection to the killing of Quando Rondo’s cousin in 2022. Following multiple delays, the Chicago rapper has decided to release his new album Deep Thoughts from behind the wall. The 20-song album features guest appearances from Future, Lil Baby, Jhene Aiko and Hunxho. Durk released an accompanying mini documentary to go with the project.

NAV Drops OMW2 Rexdale Album

Three years after the release of his Demons Protected by Angels album, NAV is back with a new LP called OMW2 Rexdale. The Canadian rapper-producer gets vibes from his humble beginnings on the album, whose title references Nav’s old Ontario neighborhood. The offering contains 14 songs and includes the single “Real Me” featuring Metro Boomin. Don Toliver and Playboi Carti also make appearances.

Babyfxce E Delivers M Block Mixtape

Babyfxce E emerges with a new mixtape four months after dropping off his Real Striker Music project. M Block, the latest release from the Flint, Mich. rapper, comes with 13 tracks. Mello Buckzz, VonOff1700, Monaleo and more make appearances. The new tape comes on the heels of E wrapping up the Wavy Navy Tour with Babyface Ray.
