Soulja Boy is reportedly about to catch a MAJOR financial loss! The ‘Crank That’ rapper reportedly just got slapped with a $4 million verdict. This comes after his ex-personal assistant dragged him to court, accusing him of sexual battery and abuse during their two-year on-off relationship. From claims of being locked up for days without food to allegedly being beaten and verbally attacked, this trial was a lot to unpack.

Jury Reportedly Hands Down $4 Million Verdict
According to Billboard, Soulja, whose real name is DeAndre Way, was present in court when the verdict was read on Thursday, April 10. The jury found him liable for intentional infliction of emotional distress, sexual harassment, and even stiffing his former assistant, listed as Jane Doe in the docs, on her coins. Sis clearly wasn’t playing when she said he owed her.
Now, the jury did cut him some slack by reportedly tossing out Doe’s claims of false imprisonment and hostile work environment.
According to Yahoo, the trial had all the receipts, including photos of Doe’s bruises and some WILD texts where he allegedly said stuff like, “Die b****. Shoulda killed your stupid a**.” Soulja tried to play it off like it wasn’t that deep, while his legal team argued that the bruises Doe claimed to have endured at the hands of Soulja could’ve been from anybody. They even flipped it, saying sis was just chasing a bag.
During closing arguments that occurred on Monday, April 7, Doe’s lawyer, Ron Zambrano, was ready to come for EVERYTHING Soulja had, asking the jury for $73.6 million. And though the amount doesn’t come close to what Doe’s lawyer had asked for, it’s still large enough to make jaws drop.
“If you don’t believe her, don’t give her a dime,” Zambrano said. “But if you do? Give her the whole damn thing. He raped her, punched her, kicked her, cut her, pointed a Draco at her, locked her up, and told her, ‘I hope you die slow.’” Chile.
Doe’s Serious Allegations Against Soulja Boy
Doe first dragged Soulja to court back in January 2021, accusing him of rape and kidnapping while she was working as his personal assistant. She reportedly first began working for him in 2018, per Variety.
In court docs, Doe said it didn’t even take a month before he was sliding in her DMs with pics of his lil’ soldier before things turned romantic between the two, per Variety. But their relationship didn’t last long because things had apparently turned violent REAL fast.
Doe told the court how Soulja would allegedly leave her locked up in a room with no food for up to TWO days. In his defense, Soulja denied all of the accusations, saying he never abused her and that she wasn’t even on his payroll. He claimed that she was simply crashing at his crib in exchange for services, and she had never received a formal job offer from him. He further admitted that their on-off romance was consensual but messy at times.
Soulja’s attorney, Rickey Ivie, wasn’t having any of it in court, calling Doe a gold-digging extortionist. “She wanted a check. That’s what this is about. Not the truth,” he reportedly clapped back.
This Isn’t Soulja’s First Time In Court Over Abuse Claims
Then another woman came forward that same year, saying he pulled a gun on her and kicked her in the stomach while she was pregnant, causing her to miscarry, per USA TODAY.
Soulja Boy has yet to make a statement pertaining to the $4 million verdict.
