A couple of new TV spot featuring some of the critical reviews for Thunderbolts* are singing the film’s praises, calling it “an MCU game changer,” and the “best Marvel movie since Avengers: Endgame.”
This is pretty high praise, but exactly what Marvel is hoping for, considering the slump the studio has been in since Endgame set the bar so high.
Thunderbolts* is full of intrigue, teasing us since the placement of the title asterisk, and leading us closer to the next double event features that will welcome the return of the Russo Brothers, and the galaxy’s fight against Doctor Doom.
The cast of Thunderbolts* will be led by Florence Pugh as Yelena Boleva, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, and Lewis Pullman as Bob aka The Sentry.
Written by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo, and directed by Jake Schreier, Thunderbolts* is currently set to be released in theaters on May 2, 2025. Do you have your tickets yet?
