Per ABC: For this week only, The Rookie is airing at 10/9c instead of its usual air time.
Something is coming in this week’s episode of The Rookie. Or should I say: Someone.
THE ROOKIE – “The Return” – TUESDAY, APRIL 29 (10:00-11:01 p.m. EDT) on ABC. (Disney/Mike Taing), PATRICK KELEHER, ERIC WINTERSeason 7 started off with two brand new rookies: Miles Penn (Deric Augustine), the cocky Texan with two years under his belt, and Seth Ridley (Patrick Keleher), who seemed to have tragic backstory after tragic backstory — only to be revealed as a pathological liar. After refusing to submit to a blood draw in Episode 10, “Chaos Agent,” Ridley is removed from the FTO program. He leaves with a promise… and a lot of potential story.
Now, six episodes later, “The Return” sees Seth Ridley return to Mid-Wilshire — and the station is certainly not happy about it. Nolan, who some may remember has a pathological liar for a mother, agrees to be his “nightmare T.O.”
But why is Seth back? How?
“He has to [return],” Patrick Keleher previews of Seth’s comeback. “There’s a reason he became a cop.”
“The Return” boasts not only a continuation of Seth’s storyline, but also a dive into filthy waters, some pointed hits at social media culture, and the most chaotic dinner party yet. And fans of #Chenford may have something to look forward to as well!
Plenty of shocks await in tomorrow’s episode of The Rookie, and the ending will leave you begging for next week to arrive already.
