Following the May 14 taping of Watch What Happens Live, rumors began swirling about a possible hookup between Erika Jayne and Jesse Solomon. According to a source speaking to PEOPLE, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and the Summer House cast member shared a close moment after filming wrapped. Page Six also confirmed the rumor, with one insider saying, “Something definitely happened between them.”
Jayne and Solomon initially met earlier in the month during rehearsals for NBC Upfronts and were seen getting cozy at a private cocktail party hosted by the network at the Mandarin Oriental. The source said, “They spent a lot of time talking together on a couch, off to themselves.” They added, “It was the talk of the party. You could definitely see there was a spark between them.” However, as of now, there is no official statement from either Solomon or Jayne.
Solomon had just gone through an on-screen breakup with Summer House co-star Lexi Wood in the episode that aired that same evening. During the episode, Wood ended things with Solomon. She said, “I feel like you aren’t ready for the relationship I’m looking for.” Ahead of the broadcast, Wood discussed the brief romance at the PEOPLE app launch event in New York on April 29.
