Kristin Cavallari’s three kids are stepping into the spotlight on her new reality show — and they’re not afraid to comment on her dating choices.
During the Wednesday, June 18, episode of Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, Cavallari, 38, received her sons, Camden and Jaxon’s unfiltered opinions about her love life after she revealed she planned to go to Scottsdale, Arizona, after the tour.
“What’s in Scottsdale?” Camden, 12, asked his mom, to which Cavallari replied, “That guy.” Cavallari and Jay Cutler’s eldest son wasn’t sure who she was talking about. “Wait what? The hockey guy?” Camden asked.
Cavallari, who shares Camden, Jaxon, 11, and daughter Saylor, 9, with Cutler, 42, revealed the man in question was an athlete — but not a hockey player.
“He’s a baseball player,” she told her boys, both of whom were sitting in the backseat of her car. “He [is] what mom? Like who is this kid? Is he like 27?” Camden quipped.
Cavallari clarified that he was older than that, telling her kids the baseball player was 30 years old.
“Oh mom, too young then,” Jaxon quickly responded. Camden agreed with his brother, adding, “I dunno about it, mom. Dunno about it.”
Cavallari also teased during the episode that she couldn’t tell her Boston tour audience “who the athletes are that you’re talking to at the moment” because “there’s two of them!”

Cavallari kept their identities under wraps while playing a game of “Sip or Spill” on stage with guest Camille Kostek, taking a shot instead of spilling the tea.
Elsewhere in the episode, Cavallari told pals Justin Anderson and Steph “Biegs” Biegel that a mystery man named Griffin responded to her chat on the dating app Raya.
“I matched with this guy in Boston. He’s 27 though. Should I respond?” Kristin asked the group. “Am I really going to go on a date with a 27-year-old. He won’t know what to do with me. Are you kidding me?”
The Laguna Beach alum explained that while “45 is ideal for me” — or even “older than that” — the guys in that age range “look like s***.”

Cavallari later revealed that because she now has full-time custody of her and Cutler’s three kids, she is “booked two months in advance” and doesn’t have much time for dating. (Cutler and Cavallari split in April 2020 after seven years of marriage.)
“I was the first one out of all of my friends to get married. Now I am the only single person in my entire life,” Cavallari told the cameras. “I feel like some of my friends, all the questions are dating, dating, dating. I’m worth more than that.”
Cavallari, who last dated Montana Boyz star Mark Estes, noted that she will “never” settle and plans to wait for her “perfect” man. (Cavallari and Estes, 25, broke up in September 2024, with Cavallari pointing to their age difference and “long-term” potential as the reason for the split.)
“I want someone who is my rock. Who I can really lean on and really trust because I’ve never experienced that in a relationship,” the True Roots cookbook author revealed. “Honestly, [my best friend] Justin is the only person in my life I have that with.”
Despite being happily single, Cavallari told her Boston crowd that if she had to pick one of her exes to spend the rest of her life with, she’d choose Estes. “I would settle with Mark because I could have really good sex for the rest of my life and be really happy,” she cheekily shared.
