According to Carter, the courtroom roared when Diddy’s not guilty verdicts were delivered. That noise was reportedly quieted, however, when his guilty convictions were read. Outside the courthouse, pandemonium ensued in a sea of reporters, photographers, and public attendees. Furthermore, media personality Armon Wiggins and an unknown woman went viral for dousing themselves with baby oil. Janice Combs, Diddy’s mom, also made headlines for blowing kisses at Diddy supporters.
“They acquitted him of the sex trafficking, which he was absolutely innocent of. They acquitted him of the racketeering conspiracy, that he was absolutely innocent of, and all the components to it. The kidnapping? He was innocent of that. The arson? He was innocent of that. The obstructing of justice. He was innocent of that. And that is no longer just me saying that, that is the verdict of our jury… today is victory of all victories,” Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, said in part.
