What happens in the Spider-Man 4 video?
The video provides fans with the first glimpse at Tom Holland’s newest Spider-Man suit for Brand New Day. At the end of 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, we got to see the friendly neighborhood hero wearing a comics-inspired bright red-and-blue costume. At the moment, it’s unknown if Holland’s new suit would be similar to the bright red-and-blue costume.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The movie will once again be led by Tom Holland as he reprises his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Emmy winner Zendaya and Jacob Batalo are also expected to return for the sequel. They will be joined by recently announced cast members Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) and Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear), with Jon Bernthal (Daredevil: Born Again) as Frank Castle/Punisher. In addition, Avengers vet Mark Ruffalo is also being rumored to reprise his iconic role as Bruce Banner/Hulk in the fourth installment. The movie is produced by Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Avi Arad, and Louis D’Esposito.
The movie is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 31, 2026, pitting it against no direct competition at the box office. However, it will still be debuting in the same month as other high-profile movies like the live-action Moana and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey adaptation.
