Oop! After Natalie Nunn claimed Shaquille O’Neal bought her her first car — amid a reported split from then-girlfriend Nikki “Hoopz” Alexander — Shaq’s ex is now reacting!

O’Neal and Alexander first began dating sometime after they met on his reality show ‘Shaq Vs.’ in 2009. By August 2010, they were engaged. However, by August 2012, they had called off their engagement. Before O’Neal and Alexander’s split, reports surfaced in 2011 about O’Neal and Nunn. On January 19, 2011, a tabloid surfaced, titled, “Shaquille O’Neal Dumps Hoopz for ‘Bad Girl’ Natalie Nunn.”
While appearing on the December 26 episode of Cam Newton’s ‘Funky Friday’ podcast, Nunn recalled the tabloid and admitted, “Shaq bought me my first car.” The admission left the former NFL-star-turned-podcaster at a loss for words. Gathering his thoughts, he asked, “You dated Shaq?” Nunn denied dating the NBA legend, but Newton repeatedly declared, “Something ain’t adding up.”

Natalie Nunn Claims Shaq Bought Her First Car, A Volkswagen Beetle
Nunn insisted, “He bought me my first car. I was at USC. He bought a Bug [Volkswagen Beetle]. A brand new Bug. It was a convertible little Bug. Google It!” Nunn proceeded to pull out her cellphone and look up the January 19, 2011 tabloid, titled, “Shaquille O’Neal Dumps Hoopz for ‘Bad Girl’ Natalie Nunn.”
Nunn declared, “I was in college. Shaq played for the [Los Angeles] Lakers. USC was down the street.” After going back-and-forth bantering with Newton, Nunn continued, “See, I got my first car from him. I got a Bug. I never dated Shaq. He loved USC and the Women’s…” Nunn didn’t complete her sentence, but she reportedly used to be a member of the USC Trojans’ Women’s Soccer Team in 2004.

Newton continued to ask, “So, you did date?” Nunn insisted, “I was a college student. I needed a car. N***a, what are you talking about?” Newton probed, “What did you do to get the car?” Nunn denied, “Nothing. I went to the games. I was a USC student athlete.”
Under a ‘Funky Friday‘ Instagram post promoting the clip about Natalie Nunn and Shaquille O’Neal, O’Neal’s ex-girlfriend, Nikki “Hoopz” Alexander, left a comment. While cryptically reacting, she simply left a pair of looking eyes: “👀”.
