Beyoncé has officially reached billionaire status.
Forbes revealed the pop star’s achievement on Monday, December 29. According to the business publication, Beyoncé, 44, is now the fifth musician to become a billionaire, joining her husband, Jay-Z, as well as Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and Rihanna.
Beyoncé’s milestone comes after the success of her 2024 country album, Cowboy Carter, which led to a Christmas Day NFL halftime show that earned her a reported $50 million and other commercial opportunities, such as her Levi’s collaboration, which earned her an estimated $10 million.
The Cowboy Carter album also spawned the world’s highest-grossing concert tour of 2025, featuring guest appearances from Beyoncé’s husband and their daughters, Blue Ivy, 13, and Rumi, 8, as well as her former Destiny’s Child bandmates. (The couple also share son Sir, 8.)

“In total, the Cowboy Carter Tour grossed more than $400 million in ticket sales, per Pollstar, and another $50 million in merchandise sold at the shows,” Forbes reported. “And because [her entertainment company, Parkwood Entertainment] produced it all, Beyoncé was able to secure higher profit margins. Combining what she made touring with earnings from her music catalog and sponsorship deals this year, Forbes estimates she brought in $148 million in 2025 before taxes, making her the third-highest paid musician in the world.”
Beyoncé founded Parkwood in 2008. The business “manages her career and produces all of her music, documentaries and concerts, fronting most of the production costs in order to capture more of the back-end economics,” according to Forbes.
One year prior to Cowboy Carter’s release, Beyoncé saw another career high with her Renaissance World Tour, which grossed nearly $600 million. The tour supported Beyoncé’s 2022 Renaissance album, with each three-hour concert featuring the album’s tracks as well as other songs from her extensive discography.
Beyoncé subsequently released a Renaissance World Tour concert film, which was distributed directly through AMC. She earned “nearly half of the movie’s $44 million global box office gross,” Forbes reported.
The outlet also noted Beyoncé’s estimated $60 million earnings from her 2019 Netflix documentary, Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé.
In addition to her musical ventures, Beyoncé has expanded her empire into a hair-care brand Cécred, a whiskey label, SirDavis, and a now-discontinued clothing line, Ivy Park.
Beyoncé’s billionaire achievement comes one year after Billboard named the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer as the No. 1 greatest pop star of the 21st century, beating out Swift, 36, Lady Gaga, Drake and other artists.

Beyoncé opened up about her future plans for her music in a rare interview with GQ in September 2024, revealing that she will only tour while her children aren’t in school so that they can have a sense of normalcy in their lives.
“I have made an extreme effort to stay true to my boundaries and protect myself and my family,” she said. “No amount of money is worth my peace.”
