Bozoma “Boz” Saint John accused Amanda Frances of using other people’s money to get rich during a podcast appearance on Wednesday.
As she also appeared on another podcast, where she compared The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to the corporate world, Boz, 49, labeled Amanda, 41, “cunning” as she targeted her career and reflected on her explanation of how she ended up in a cult, describing the story as “strange.
“I think she’s cunning. You have to be cunning in order to manipulate people, not manifest,” Boz stated on the March 18 episode of Us Weekly‘s Getting Real With the Housewives.
She also stood by her suggestion that Amanda was good at “scamming,” which she made during a January appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
“My opinions about her business didn’t change, but I saw more clearly that some of the misgivings that I had about her were indeed true,” she noted. “I think she’s a woman who is trying to do the right thing. Unfortunately, her methods of doing that are not clear, and I wish that she could apply some of this goodness in a way that would actually benefit more people. I mean, she talks so much about getting rich AF, but using other people’s money in order to do that.”
Reflecting on Amanda’s comments about her past cult ties on recent episodes, Boz admitted to finding them “strange.”
“This one was such a strange one for me,” Bozoma shared. “I grew up in an evangelical Christian church as well, so I know a lot of the tactics that go very left. There’s a certain line in any kind of religion where you can go from being holy into maybe something that is not as righteous. I don’t think any of us are thinking that cults are a little left of what is righteous, and so I understood how she got there. I wish she would have been vulnerable with the group and with everyone who’s watching about what her experiences are and how they have affected her.”
“We all have such different experiences and we all have things that we have failed at that we are trying to figure out, but nobody is perfect,” she continued. “I think the best way to be as truthful and honest as possible.”
According to Boz, Amanda’s house of cards may soon fall.
“You can’t just put up this veneer of perfection — it’s going to come tumbling down and I think that’s what’s happening,” she said.
Meanwhile, on the March 16 episode of The Bossticks, Boz described RHOBH as a “cakewalk” compared to the corporate world.
“The kind of shark-infested waters I’ve swum in, this is nothing in comparison,” she shared. “We have people who are crying because somebody said a harsh word to them. I’m like, ‘If you’d been talked to the way I’ve been talked to in my career, you would never have made it.”
With a 25-year career in corporate, Boz said that while she should have more of a poker face, she simply does not.
“I’m just gonna react,” she explained.
Boz then revealed that her main issue with her role on RHOBH is her castmates’ inability to solve problems.
“Nobody is solution-oriented. You’re not in disagreement to find a solution. You’re in a disagreement to just be mad,” she stated. “And I have a hard time with that because, obviously, given my experience, it’s like, if you don’t find a solution, that costs money.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
